For the National Selection for Eurovision 2026, Platforma delivered a cutting-edge LED solution designed to transform the logic of stage space and movement.
The creative vision, led by director German Nenov, aimed to build a stage configuration unlike any previously seen in Ukraine’s national selections — a dynamic environment capable of adapting to each performance while maintaining broadcast precision.
The production required:
- A visually distinctive stage with no historical analogues
- Flexible configuration to support diverse musical acts
- Broadcast-grade image stability under complex TV lighting
- Advanced motion elements integrated directly into the stage design
The goal was to create a stage that could move, transform, and visually amplify storytelling for every performer.
Seamless High-Contrast LED Floor
Platforma supplied a seamless LED floor with enhanced contrast and anti-glare coating, a product unique to the Ukrainian market.
This technology enabled:
- Deeper blacks
- Cleaner on-screen graphics
- Stable visuals under demanding broadcast lighting
- Reduced reflections for improved camera performance
The result was exceptional image clarity, even in complex television setups. The same LED floor was used for the National Selections in both Luxembourg and Ukraine, proving its effectiveness in technically demanding broadcast formats.
Integrated Moving Scenic Elements
For the first time in Ukraine’s National Selection history, the stage incorporated a full LED floor system, a moving scenic element, and rotating LED screen, specifically engineered for this project.
These elements allowed the stage to shift in rhythm and spatial logic, giving each act greater dynamism and visual expressiveness.
