On 26 September 2015, the media installation “Ukrainian Engineers Impress the World” was unveiled in Kyiv as a launch event marking Impression Electronics’ entry into European and international markets.

For this announcement, Platforma engineered and integrated a large-scale LED installation on Sophia Square, temporarily enclosing the monument of Bohdan Khmelnytsky within a custom-built cube structure.
Two faces of the cube were formed by large-format LED screens, creating a powerful public-facing media surface in the heart of the city.

The creative concept, developed by Tabasco, featured bespoke visual content in which the monument of Bohdan Khmelnytsky came to life and symbolically moved toward Europe, reflecting the company’s international ambitions.
The visuals were based on pre-recorded footage of the monument, carefully animated to create the illusion of motion and presence. The content dynamically adapted to the time of day, ensuring a natural and context-aware visual experience.

Platforma was responsible for the full LED integration, including structural coordination, system setup, and reliable operation of the large-format LED screens in a sensitive historical environment. The installation transformed a landmark public space into a bold statement of technological capability, engineering expertise, and international outlook.
