At the 2021 International Book Arsenal Festival in Kyiv, Platforma collaborated with Visa and creative partners Adje and Gres Todorchuk Agency to bring a bold, interactive storytelling experience to life — the #you_are_an_author video book installation.

The Concept

Designed to transform the traditional reading experience, the installation invited festival visitors to co-write a story in real-time. As part of the Visa #you_are_an_author campaign, the interactive video book allowed users to guide the plot by simply moving their hands in front of the screen. With each gesture, a new segment of the narrative appeared, offering a seamless and intuitive way to engage with digital literature.

The concept and content, developed by Adje and Gres Todorchuk Agency, empowered audiences to step into the role of co-authors, blending literature, choice, and motion technology. The result was a seamless integration of technology and storytelling, celebrated by hundreds of festival attendees.
